About Mrs. K

Mrs. Lindsay Konsorada
I am a Brandon girl originally, and since graduation my life's course has taken me in many different directions! I started off taking my first two years of undergrad at Brandon University, but transferred to Acadia University in Nova Scotia. After 4 years I left with with both my undergrad and my Bachelor of Education. I had the fortunate opportunity to live and teach in Lillehammer, Norway while my husband Tim played professional hockey. I cherish the time I spent there and what the opportunity has added to my life, professionally and personally. Once Tim and I were able to build a home in Onanole - I decided to stay back and "hold down the fort". This is my second year being part of the Tanner's Crossing Team! Based on my past experiences, I strongly believe that each child, no matter what their background should have an equal chance to learn. As a classroom teacher it is my responsibility to find the right "tools" necessary to help each student to learn to the best of their ability. “If a seed of a lettuce will not grow, we do not blame the lettuce. Instead, the fault lies with us for not having nourished the seed properly." - Buddhist Proverb
