RMNP Trip Chaperones and Little Valley Jamboree

Thank you to everyone who showed interest in helping out with our field trip.

In total I am able to take 6 adults, - and 4 of which are parents.

Again the proper paperwork had to be into the office.  The secretary needs a criminal record check, as well as a child abuse registry check on file for you to be eligible to come.  I know... its allot of paperwork!!

Parents who had their name in at the time of the draw, and who have the proper documentation are:

Green Class:
Mrs. Brykaluik
Mrs. Neufeld
Mr. McQuain
Mrs. Pinette

Blue class:
Mrs. Lalliberte
Mrs. Martinez- Okemon
Mrs. Burton  (shauna)
Mrs. Gugin

Again,  thanks everyone for their interest and for checking the blog regularly... although I know its been minimal since I have started year end assessments and report cards...   42 this year!!  wowsers!

Please look at the itinerary for departure/arrival times.
also - we will be going on a Forrest walk  for 2 hours - so make sure to wear good shoes!

I may be a little late getting into the classroom Monday morning, as I have transition meetings with administration in the school - and may be done a little after the bell....   but I will be there as soon as I can to load the bus!!

I'm excited and so are the kids!!!  :)
make sure to double check the list of things to pack as well as get the waiver form and fee in ASAP.
On the morning of, please have your child's icecream money (3- 5 dollars) labelled in a baggie for me to collect.

Thanks
Mrs. K

Kindergarten Field trip to RMNP

As many of you have heard from the little one's - the kinder classes will be going on a field trip to Riding Mountain National Park and taking part in an interpretive program put on by RMNP , visiting the visitors center museum, as well as enjoying a bag lunch in the beautiful atmosphere and of course ...  what's a trip to the park without eating ice cream????   :)

The even class goes on  Monday June 17th, and the odd class on  Tuesday June 18th.  We will be departing TCS at 9:00 am by school bus, and returning at 3:00 pm.

Waiver forms and information sheets will be sent out next week, as well as a small amount of money will be required to cover the student cost of the interpretive program - and any money you would like to send for ice cream.

A bag lunch will also need to be sent, along with all that other good outdoor activity necessities, (bug spray, sunscreen, change of clothes, etc.)

At this time -  I am asking parents who would like to volunteer to come along on the trip to contact me.  To keep things fair,  parents who have not yet come on a field trip with us will have first dibs, as long as the office has their volunteer forms in  (criminal record check, child abuse registry check).

I have room for a maximum of four adults per class.  Please let me know if you would like to volunteer,  and I will sign you up.  If we have a lot of people wanting to go - we will draw names out of a hat :)

Thanks

Mrs. K
