Using Hands for Kindness

Both classes read a book called "Hands Are Not for Hitting" this week.  The book talked about how hitting is  always wrong , and that there is other things you can do when you are feeling sad, scared, angry or frustrated!

We brainstormed some ideas about kind things we can do with our hands and the kids drew pictures, and labelled their ideas on hands.

A wreath is made in the classroom displaying all our great ideas!
